In response to the official visit request from University College TATI (UC TATI), Terengganu, Malaysia, dated October 13, 2025 (Ref. No: UC TATI.PTR-100(48)), and as a part of the continuing implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UC TATI and APTISI Komisariat II Surakarta, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was successfully held under the theme “Enhancing Higher Education Networks for Global Competitiveness”. This meaningful academic and collaborative event took place on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 08.30 AM to 11.00 AM at Ballroom 2, 8th Floor, Universitas Duta Bangsa Surakarta, located at Jl. Ki Mangunsarkoro No.20, Nusukan, Sumber, Banjarsari, Surakarta.

The FGD was attended by representatives from various Private Higher Education Institutions (PTS) across Surakarta and its surroundings, including: UDB, Poltek Indonusa, UNSA, UM PKU, TSU, STMIK AMIKOM Surakarta, UKH, UNISRI, APN, AA Efendi Harahap, STIKES Nasional, UNAKI, STIE AB Universitas Boyolali, STIKES Mitra Husada, STIKES Estu Utomo, STIES, AKPER Giri Satria Husada, AKPARTA Mandala Bhakti.

Due to scheduling conflicts, the Chairperson of STMIK AMIKOM Surakarta was unable to attend. The institution was proudly represented by Nina Dewi Lashwaty, S.E., M.Si., Public Relations Officer, and Nurhidayanto, M.Pd., Head of Quality Assurance. The two delegates also gracefully served as the Masters of Ceremony (MCs) throughout the event.

The FGD unfolded vibrantly, marked by dynamic exchanges of ideas between speakers and participants. Key topics explored included:
